There has been a rekindling of appreciation for tea dances across the country recently and I have extensive experience of playing for all types of ballroom dancing. As you will see from my home page I have worked in this field onboard most of the P&O luxury cruise liners which should emphasise that I have a good working knowledge of exactly the right tempos for ballroom and sequence dancing. This steps outside of the Cocktail Pianist vogue as it requires a constant tempo throughout to be a good dance pianist.
